25 weeks
25 weeks into this journey - not a ton has changed since 18 weeks. I'm starting to feel much better and am able to keep water down. Last week, I realized I might need to hold off on running for a while. There is a ton of pressure and uncomfortableness when I run, so I've been sticking to mainly walking. I have gone to Orange Theory Fitness about 8 times this passed month. I have one more month left on my contract for that, figuring at that point, it will be even less comfortable. The scale is stressing me out quite a bit, I'm learning to be okay with it, but it's tough after spending most of my adult life struggling with weight.
At our 20 week ultrasound, they found and EIF in baby's heart. We had a follow up ultrasound yesterday to see if it went away. It was still there, but structurally, everything looked okay and we have already done a chromosomal test (EIF is a soft indicator for Down's Syndrome). Baby is still hanging out breech, but she's got plenty of time to flip. Because of this, I don't feel her moving too much yet. I really only feel her when I'm laying around at night, and every once in a while it's a little more pronounced. Joel got to feel her kick last week!
I've been craving watermelon more than anything, but I do that even when I'm not pregnant :)
Joel and I put an offer in on a house, but we didn't end up getting it. We will keep looking with a goal to be moved in in August to be able to get settled before the big debut.
