34ish weeks + life changes

Joel and I are suckers for stess.  7+ months pregnant and we just moved into our new house the last weekend in July. We were supposed to be closing on our old house the next week, but the buyer's funding fell through the day before closing. We scrambled and panicked a little and  got the house back on the market. Thankfully, after being on the market a week, we accepted and offer with plans to close September 6th, so holding our breaths until then.

August 2nd was also my last day at Medtronic.  I started a new job on Monday, working with Left Atrial Appendage Closure devices at Boston Scientific in Maple Grove. My first week was great! I struggle with not feeling productive, so it's tough to get started knowing I will be going on leave, but my group seems great!

Joel's last day at Expeditors was yesterday, August 9th, he starts a new role at Ecolab.  Figure we would change everything :) He has a week off before he starts.

Pregnancy is moving along. A little over weeks 6 until due date, which is slightly terrifying. With all the packing and moving going on, I'm trying to not overdue it (I ended up at the hospital a couple weeks ago just for monitoring after doing a little too much - everything was perfectly fine and I loved the nursing staff at where we will be delivering, so that was very reassuring). We are so lucky to have such amazing family and friends that live close by.  We got our house moved out of in 1.5 hours with 14 people and unloaded into the new house in 1.5 hours with 11 people. We truly are blessed and couldn't do any of this without the amazing people in our lives to help.  If only it took that little amount of time to get unpacked! It feels like we've been unpacking nonstop for two weeks and it's barely noticeable!

I'm experiencing insomnia. Falling asleep is tough and staying asleep is also really hard to do. It might also just be a mixture of all the changes going on that my brain is on overdrive. The acid reflux is so bad too. I'm trying to continue to take longer walks, but even that is starting to get a little tougher. My lungs seem to be running out of room :)

Baby is starting to get a little less active, which I guess is normal, but I like when is goes crazy in there - makes me know she's doing alright :)

Jen and Leah threw me the best baby shower last weekend. It was so nice to take my mind off the house stuff for a little bit and hang out with friends and family. Cassie took me to get pampered with a mani pedi beforehand and then we headed to Jen's for the baby shower. The food was great, the games were fun, the company was unbeatable. Baby Cassens is so lucky :)
