Six Things Sunday
- Today was one of those runs where I really remember how much I love running. I’ve been super consistent with my runs the last two weeks. This week, I even got on the treadmill after Miles went to bed (I bribed Hailey with goldfish and peanut butter in front of the TV) even after I had talked myself out of it. I also did a 15 minute Peloton ride this week, testing out the Achilles - felt good!

- Miles still isn’t sleeping through the night. We had mentally prepared for 8 months since that’s when Hailey started sleeping through the night… so it’s going on almost 9 months and he still needs to get up to eat. We started to just make him a bottle and give it to him in the crib and go back to bed - probably not the best habit to get into, but whatevs
- We got quite a bit of social time this weekend - I got to see friends dropping off Crumbl, had coffee with a friend, ran with MOTR, and we went over to one of Joel’s friend’s house - they have a 2 and a 4 year old. Hailey had so much fun playing there, she really liked their baby dolls and a stroller they had to push around for the stuffed animals. It’s really awesome to hang out with people that have kids and get it when we have to leave early and are hectic
- I got to go to book club for the first time in so long! It was at one of my friend’s house that has an almost 2 year old and an almost 4 year old. I went over a little early with the kids so that they could play a bit. I had to leave just as the discussions were getting started. Our book for last month was 56 days - a thriller about a couple that decides to do lockdown together, but only one comes out alive. This month’s book is Code Girls, about women cryptographers in WWII.
- We went to Joel’s parent’s for dinner Wednesday night. Joel’s cousin came to town so we got to do dinner with him. It was so nice to see the family since it’s been such a stressful couple of weeks at work.
- I got my nails done last week and I am just loving them. I feel pretty when I get do my hair and make up, but there’s something about the nails being done since I see them all the time. I feel so put together :)
