Liked/Loved
Life's Too Short by Abby Jimenez – Third book of the Friend Zone series, probably my least favorite of the three, but a really quick, easy read. The most unrealistic thing about this book was how Adrian got the newborn baby to stop crying immediately by removing a tag from her clothes.. that baby in the book was the best baby ever! The main character is an influencer and is struggling with the possibility of having ALS while raising her sister's baby and falling in love with her very rich next door neighbor.
Dark Matter by Blake Crouch – I really like his books. This one was about a physicist that creates a way to live every possible life you could have lived - and the repercussions of it. It does make your mind go a little crazy trying to figure out what's going on but a really good book.
Kitchens of the Great Midwest by J. Ryan Stradal – Absolutely loved the last book - Lager Queen of Minnesota - so had high hopes for this one and it did not disappoint. Such a good book and intertwined story of a girl/woman who has a knack for cooking.
Meh
Daring Greatly by Brene Brown – I want to love her books, I do like lots of it.. but meh
Disliked
Leave the World Behind by Rumaan Alam – Didn't like this book... it was about a family that rents and AirB&B and at night, the owners of the house come back to stay with them since all the power went out in all of NYC. The book goes through their feelings and goings on while some huge, end of world event seems to be going on. The ending leaves something to be desired because I like closure and this left you hanging...
