Weekly Workouts (v.4)

Weekly Workouts for Week of August 2 - August 8

Monday -

SP Shift Workout: Goblet squats, ring rows

Tuesday -

Peloton ride: 5.43 miles; 20m

Wednesday -

Run: 5.1 miles; 50m 8s (10:08/mile) - 3x800m repeats (8:48, 8:28, 8:30) I ran with the stroller and it was great because people had their sprinklers on, but also not great because I didn't want Miles to get wet.  It was quite moist and icky out, but I stopped at Jen's house and she gave me water because I forgot some, so that was incredibly helpful

Walk: 1.63 miles; 34m 56s - I messed up the route and how far I thought I was from home so walked the last little bit since Miles was sleeping, I did have to stop to feed him but it was a lovely walk

Thursday -

Run: 2.1 miles; 21m 54s (10:24/mile) - I met with the MOTR group to run and they had a 2x10 minute tempo.  The humidity has just been so awful so I was dripping.  I made it through the first tempo at close to a 9:00/mile (I had my Apple watch so not entirely sure) but then just wasn't feeling great so decided to walk back and not push it and risk injury

Walk: 0.68 miles; 13m 11s - walk back to group from the run

Friday -

Walk: 0.73 miles; 17m 42s - I woke up at 4:30 after feeding Miles and just got up for the day.  I took Dakota for a walk down the block, it was so peaceful! I was in such a better mood when the kids started screaming since I was already up instead of being jolted awake by the kids

Saturday -

Rest Day

Sunday -

Run: 8.02 miles; 1h 33m 38s (11:41/mile) - I met with Northstar Running down at Longfellow and ran with the group - I ran this whole thing and didn't do any run/walk intervals!  I had the stroller and had to keep Miles covered for most of it since it was sprinkling.  Unfortunately for us, the rain didn't break the humidity at all, it was so icky!  It was so nice to have people to run with and to catch up with people I hadn't seen in forever.  My body felt really good during the run since we were going at an easy pace, but my achilles started to feel super tight later.  My ankle/top of foot hurt a bit from where I crunched it a little pushing Hailey on the swing in flip flops

Walk: 0.36 miles; 7m 1s - walked the last little bit back to Longfellow with Ellen and chatted
