Likes:
- Eating
- Laying on the ground wiggling
- Baths
- Walks in his car seat/driving in the car
- Ceiling fans
- Making faces and eye contact with people, he loves to smile at everyone
Dislikes:
- Really, not that much; he only seems to cry when he is tired or hungry or wants a little attention
Sleeping:
The last week, Miles has given us a few 7-9 hour stretches if I kept putting his pacifier back in his mouth, shushing him and putting his tummy. Realistically he is only giving us about 5 hour stretches at the most without intervention.
He is pretty consistent with being awake for about an hour to hour and a half and then needing a nap. He will sleepy about 45 minutes in the Snoo or 1-2 hours in the car seat if I’m running/walking with him.
Eating:
Miles is eating up to 5 ounces at a time every few hours - usually about 3-4 ounces. We did a case of the Similac Pro Advance and the Kirkland brand formula. He has been spitting up quite a bit lately so we have been mixing it with the Target generic Spit Up brand.
I was recommended the Dr Browns formula pitcher and it is amazing! Miles is getting a little better at taking a cold bottle so that will be awesome if we can make all his bottles at the beginning of the day and just give them to him straight from the fridge like we did with Hailey.
Growth:
Wearing 0-3 month and in size 2 diapers.
Based on the bathroom scale this morning he is 14 pounds 2 ounces.
Firsts:
This month had a few firsts -
- Road trip! And hotel stay
- CrossFit Games
- Not his first…. But we ended it in the emergency room twice with him while we were traveling due to RSV and almost got admitted
Mom:
Still tired… still trying to get back into a routine for workouts and really need to figure out my eating habits…
For comparison - Hailey at three months from my Instagram:
Her personality it starting to come out. She's smiling more and screeching some. She likes to try to stand and sit up. Still not a fan of tummy time. She gave mommy a scare last night by rolling onto her side in her swaddle. We sure love her ♥️

I really hope you are done with ER visits! You've had enough of those to last a lifetime between you and Miles! He sounds like Will who is also very easy going and rarely cries. I hope Miles keeps giving you some longer stretches. And maybe avoids the 4 month sleep regression? That hit both our boys at 3.5 months and was pretty brutal! I thought every baby went through that but my sister has some mom friends whose babies never went through it!
